What We Believe

Mustang Creek Community Church is anchored in the infallible Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Here is the heartbeat and foundation of our faith.

Why We Exist

“We exist to develop effective followers of Christ who demonstrate the heart of Heaven on earth.”

Our 5 House Values

In This House

  • 01 Serving

    Saved People Serve People

Real faith works through love. Following Jesus means rolling up our sleeves to serve our community, our church family, and our neighbors with humility, joy, and generosity.

  • 02 Souls

    Found People Find People

God's heart is for the lost. Because Jesus reached out to us when we were far off, we are unashamed and passionate about sharing hope, winning souls, and inviting others into relationship with Christ.

  • 03 Community

    Doing Life Together

We were never created to walk alone. Authentic life change happens in the context of meaningful relationships, small groups, and a caring church family where everyone belongs.

  • 04 Being Spirit Filled

    Presence Over Program

We prioritize the tangible presence of God over human performance. As a spirit-filled church, we make room for the Holy Spirit to lead, speak, heal, and transform lives in every gathering.

  • 05 Discipleship

    We Never Stop Growing

Spiritual maturity is a lifelong journey. Grounded in God's Word, prayer, and intentional discipleship, we continually pursue spiritual depth and Christlike character.

Statement of Faith

Essential Beliefs

  • The Scriptures Inspired

    2 Timothy 3:15–17 · 1 Thessalonians 2:13 · 2 Peter 1:21

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative written Word of God, revealing His salvation plan and purpose for all mankind.

  • The One True God

    Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · Luke 3:22

There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each distinct yet unified in divine essence.

  • The Deity of Jesus Christ

    Hebrews 1:3 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Acts 1:9

In the virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ to the right hand of the Father.

  • The Fall & Salvation of Man

    Genesis 1:26–27 · Romans 5:12–19 · Ephesians 2:8–9

Man was created upright, but fell through voluntary transgression. Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, received through repentance and faith.

  • Ordinances of the Church

    Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:4 · 1 Corinthians 11:26

Water baptism by immersion for all who repent, and Holy Communion commemorating Christ's suffering and death until His return.

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

    Acts 1:4, 8 · Acts 2:4 · 1 Corinthians 12:1–31

A distinct, empowering gift available to every believer for witness, spiritual gifts, and dynamic ministry in the Kingdom of God.

  • Divine Healing

    Isaiah 53:4–5 · Matthew 8:16–17 · James 5:14–16

Deliverance from sickness is provided in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers through faith and prayer.

  • The Blessed Hope & Eternity

    1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Revelation 21–22

The imminent return of Jesus Christ for His church, the final resurrection, and the everlasting presence of God in the new heaven and new earth.
